rural media labs

The Rural Media Labs project was created to reach youth and women in rural and remote areas across India. Through immersive bootcamps and fellowships, participants are exposed to photography, filmmaking, and citizen journalism, gaining the tools to tell personal stories and spotlight local issues.

In partnership with grassroots organisations, we have travelled to rural communities across five states, reaching over 120+ youth and women to date.
